DUT ENERGY TECHNOLOGY STATION
Small Scale Grid-Connected Photovoltaic Course
Course Overview:

This course is for anyone interested in small and medium sized grid-connected solar PV installations.
The facilitator will take the trainees through all steps necessary in order to achieve an optimal PV installation. This includes the explaining of all tools and systems required for the installation as well as how the various components of a solar PV plant are installed.
Further, certain design and installation parameters will be discussed in order for system and component warranties to be valid. The course also covers system testing when commissioning a PV plant.
Courses Outcomes:

Upon completion of this course, you will be able to
-
distinguish the remuneration schemes Fee-in Tariff and Net-metering for PV systems,
-
name and explain the required components for grid-connected PV systems,
-
manage and supervise design, sizing and installation of a grid-connected PV system and
-
describe the tasks during commissioning, operation and maintenance.
